| You know what? This is not your normal farewell xanga speech. This is a conversion address!
Come one come all, and join me on my journey back to Blogger! If you think that every blog's URL must begin with "http://www.xanga.com" then you are sadly mistaken! The wide world of blogging is at your fingertips and yet you settle for a squalid, advertisement ridden site?! Convert! CONVERT! For the day of judgement is nigh!
[ahem]
Yes, I am leaving xanga. No, I do not hold any bad feelings for xanga or its users. I would only like to point out that:
- Xanga's ads have been becoming worse (lingerie and love ads)
- Xanga's layout is horrible!
- Xanga will not let you change your sites layout to the extent of Bloggers current editing allowance.
I hope that you will consider switching over to Blogger, or any other reputable blogging system in the near future. Please leave me your blog ( ite address) as well so that I can keep in contact with you! I enjoy reading all of my friends blogs and keeping up to date with them! So farethee well Xanga, may you rest in peace.
You can find my blog at http://thecheesezone.blogspot.com. I hope you drop in and say hi once and a while!
In Christ alone, Ben

- In Flanders fields the poppies blow
- Between the crosses, row on row,
- That mark our place; and in the sky
- The larks, still bravely singing, fly
- Scarce heard amid the guns below.
- We are the Dead. Short days ago
- We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
- Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
-
In Flanders fields.
- Take up our quarrel with the foe:
- To you from failing hands we throw
- The torch; be yours to hold it high.
- If ye break faith with us who die
- We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
-
In Flanders fields.
My sincere voice of thankfulness goes out to all the soldiers who fought for my freedom so that I may enjoy the holiday of Valentines day on this this bright February day. Semper Fi! | | |
